Psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşması üzerinde okul müdürlerinin liderlik stillerinin rolünün incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşması üzerinde okul müdürlerinin liderlik stillerinin rolünün incelenmesi genel amaç olarak belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşması; cinsiyet, medeni durum, en son bitirilen okul, kıdem ve görev yapılan öğretim basamağı değişkenlerine göre karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla araştırma 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Artvin, Rize ve Trabzon il ve ilçelerinde görev yapan 181'i kadın 40'ı erkek olmak üzere toplam 221 psikolojik danışman ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verilerini toplamak amacıyla Akan, Yıldırım ve Yalçın (2014) tarafından geliştirilen "Okul Müdürleri Liderlik Stili Ölçeği", Eryılmaz (2010) tarafından geliştirilen "Örgütsel Yabancılaşma Ölçeği" ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" kullanılmıştır. Psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşması üzerinde okul müdürlerinin liderlik stillerinin rolünün incelenmesi amacıyla çoklu regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşmasının cinsiyet, medeni durum, en son bitirilen okul, kıdem ve görev yapılan öğretim basamağı değişkenlerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığının belirlenebilmesi için ise "Mann Whitney U testi", "Kruskal Wallis H testi", "t-testi" ve "ANOVA" yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşmalarıyla sadece dönüşümcü liderlik stili arasında olumsuz yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Sürdürümcü ve serbest bırakıcı liderlik stilleri ile psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşması arasında ise anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşmasının; sadece medeni durum ve görev yapılan öğretim basamağına göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaştığı saptanmıştır. Medeni durum değişkenine göre evli olanların ve görev yapılan öğretim basamağı değişkenine göre lisede görev yapanların diğer meslektaşlarına göre daha fazla yabancılaşma yaşadıkları sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Psikolojik danışmanların yabancılaşmasının cinsiyet, en son bitirilen okul ve kıdem değişkenlerine göre ise anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmadığı belirlenmiştir. In this study, examination of the role of school principals' leadership styles on alienation of psychological counselors was defined as a general object. In addition, the alienation of psychological counselors was compared according to the gender, marital status, the most recently graduated school, seniority, and the grade of teaching which is assigned. For this purpose, the research was carried out with a total of 221 psychological counselors that are 181 of them female and 40 of them male, who are working in Artvin, Rize and Trabzon provinces during the academic year of 2017-2018. "Leadership Styles of School Principals' Scale", "Organizational Alienation Scale" and "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher were used in order to collect the data of the research. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the role of school principals' leadership styles on the alienation of psychological counselors. Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test, t-test and ANOVA were conducted in order to determine whether the alienation of psychological counselors differ according to gender, marital status, last graduate school, seniority, and the grade of teaching which is assigned. As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a negative relationship between the alienation of psychological counselors and just the transformational leadership style from leadership styles. On the other hand, it was determined that there is no meaningful relationship between the transactional and laissez-faire leadership and the alienation of psychological counselors. Also, it was appointed that the alienation of psychological counselors differed significantly only according to the marital status and the grade of teaching which is assigned. It has been found that according to the factor of marital status, married people; and the grade of teaching which is assigned, the ones who work in high school have more alienation than the other colleagues. It has determined that the alienation of psychological counselors does not differ significantly according to sex, the most recently graduated school and seniority variables.
