Abstract

The risk of venous thrombosis has increased in patients with cancer, and this is precipitated by the chemotherapeutic agents.Mean platelet volume (MPV) changes and platelet distribution width (PDW), prominent indicators of platelet activation and numerous studies investigating the relationship between the MPV and PDW with venous thrombosis have been done and some are still ongoing
