Öğretmen adaylarının denetim, denetmen ve denetlenen kavramlarına ilişkin metaforik algıları

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının denetim, denetmen ve denetlenen kavramlarına ilişkin algılarını, metaforlar aracılığı ile ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, bir üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesinin Sınıf Öğretmenliği, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği, İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği ve Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği programlarının 4. sınıflarında öğrenimlerine devam eden öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak öğretmen adaylarına "Denetim... gibidir. Çünkü... Denetmen... gibidir. Çünkü... ve Denetlenen... gibidir. Çünkü... sorularının yazılı olduğu bir görüşme formu dağıtılmıştır. Bu şekilde her öğretmen adayının denetim, denetmen ve denetlenen kavramlarına ilişkin birer metafor üretmesi beklenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Öğretmen adaylarının denetim, denetmen ve denetlenen kavramlarına ilişkin ürettikleri metafor ifadeleri incelendiğinde, bu metaforların ortak özellikleri bakımından farklı kavramsal kategoriler altında toplanabildiği görülmüştür. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğretmen adaylarının zihinlerindeki denetim, denetmen ve denetlenen algılarının genellikle olumsuz yönde olduğu görülmüştür.

The purpose of this study is to reveal teacher candidates' perception of supervision, supervisor and supervised concepts through metaphors. The study group of this research is teacher candidates who are still senior students a university, Faculty of Education, Department of Primary School Teaching, Social Sciences Teaching, Primary School Mathematics Teaching and Science Teaching Departments. As a tool of data collection, this study handed out interview forms to the teacher candidates and questions such as "Supervision is like ... Because..., Supervisor is like... Because ... and Supervised is like ... Because...". Thus, each teacher candidate was expected to create a metaphor about concepts of supervision, supervisor and supervised. As a result of the study, the metaphors created by teacher candidates about the concepts of supervision, supervisor and supervised are reviewed and it is concluded that these metaphors might be grouped under different categories in terms of their common characteristics. The results of this study have concluded that the concepts of supervision, supervisor and supervised generally have negative connotations for teacher candidates.
