Madde Kullanım Bozukluğu Olan Yetişkinlerin Sorunlarının Açıklanmasında Aile İşlevleri Ve Çeşitli Demografik Değişkenlerin Rolü

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; madde kullanım bozukluğu olan yetişkin bireylerin sorun, ihtiyaç ve beklentilerinin belirlenmesi, genel aile işlevleri düzeylerinin çeşitli demografik değişkenlerle ilişkisinin incelenmesidir. Nicel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı çalışma, ilişkisel tarama modeli çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini denetimli serbestlik müdürlüğünden hizmet alan ve çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden 327 madde kullanım bozukluğu olan yetişkin birey oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Aile Değerlendirme Ölçeği Kısa Formu ve Risk Değerlendirme Anketi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde parametrik testlerden t ve ANOVA testleri kullanılmış, kategorik değişkenler arasındaki ilişki ise Ki-kare testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda; katılımcıların genel aile işlevlerinde sorun olmadığı ancak genel aile işlevleri ile medeni durum, aile yapısı, aylık gelir, ruh sağlığı, ilk madde kullanma yaşı, suç geçmişi, intihar girişimi arasında anlamlı ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu araştırma bulgularının denetimli serbestlik müdürlüğünde madde kullanım bozukluğu olan bireylere yönelik sunulan rehabilitasyon hizmetlerinin kalitesinin arttırılmasına katkı sunması beklenmektedir.

The aim of this study is to determine the problems, needs and expectations of adult individuals with substance-use disorders and to examine the relationship between general family function levels and various demographic variables. The study was conducted by using quantitative research method and within the framework of relational screening model. The sample of the study consists of 327 voluntary adult individuals with substance-use disorders who were receiving service from the department of probation. In the research, the Short Form of Family Assessment Device and Risk Assessment Questionnaire were used as data collection tools. T-test and ANOVA among parametric tests were used in the analysis of the obtained data. The relationship between categorical variables was analyzed by Chi-square test. As a result of the study, it was found out that there were not any problems in the general family functions of the participants, but there was a significant relationship between the general family functions and marital status, family structure, monthly income, mental health, age of first substance use, criminal history, and suicide attempt. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the improvement of the quality of rehabilitation services provided to individuals with substance-use disorder in the department of probation.
