Hz. Peygamber'in büyük kızı Hz. Zeyneb'in hayatı

Abstract

Hz. Zeyneb, Hz. Peygamber ve Hz. Hatice`nin büyük kızlarıdır ve 600 yılında Mekke`de doğmuştur. İslâmiyet gelmeden biraz önce teyzesinin oğlu Ebû`l-Âs b. Rebî?`le evlenmi?tir. Bu evlilikten Ali ve Ümâme adında iki çocuğu dünyaya gelmi?tir.Hz. Peygamber, peygamberlikle görevlendirildiğinde Hz. Zeyneb, annesi Hz. Hatice`den sonra ilk Müslüman olan kişi olmuŞtur. Hz. Zeyneb Müslüman olmasına rağmen eŞi Ebû`l-Âs, ?slâmiyet`i kabul etmemi?tir. Bununla birlikte eşine karşı daima hoşgörülü davranmıştır. Müşrikler, Hz. Zeyneb`i boşaması karşılığında istediği kadınla evlendirileceği teklifiyle kendisine geldiğinde o, kendisi için e?inden daha hayırlı birisi olmadığını söyleyerek mü?riklerin teklifini reddetmi?tir.Hz. Peygamber, 622 yılında Medine`ye hicret ettikten sonra Hz. Zeyneb`i de yanına aldırmak istemi? fakat e?i buna müsaade etmemiştir. Ebû`l-Âs, Bedir Savaşı`nda esir düşünce Hz. Zeyneb`in artık Mekke`de müşrikler arasında kalması sakıncalı olduğu için eşini Medine`ye göndereceğine dair Hz. Peygamber`e söz verdi. Bunun üzerine Hz. Zeyneb, hicret için yola koyuldu. Kendisi o zaman hamileydi ve hicret esnasında müşriklerin yüzünden devesinden düşerek çocuğunu kaybetti.Hz. Zeyneb, hicretten sonra bir müddet Ebû`l-Âs`tan ayrı olarak Medine`de Hz. Peygamber`in yanında yaşadı. Îs Seriyyesi`nin ardından eşini himâye etti. Bu olaydan sonra Ebû`l-Âs, Müslüman oldu ve Hz. Peygamber Hz. Zeyneb`i ona iade etti. Hz. Zeyneb, eşiyle bir araya gelmelerinden yaklaşık bir sene sonra hicret esnasında çocuğunu düşürmesi sonucunda bir daha eski sağlığına kavuşamamasının da etkisiyle henüz otuz yaşındayken 629 yılında Medine`de vefât etmiştir ve kabri Medine`deki Cennetü`l-Bâkî Mezarlığı`ndadır. ABSTRACT Zaynab is the oldest daughter of Hz. Mohammed and Khadijah and was born in Mecca in the year of 600. Before Islam she was married to Ebû`l- Âs b. Rebî. She had two children called Ali and Umâme during this marriage.When Prophet Mohammed was charged with prophethood, Zaynab was the first person being Muslim after her mother Khadijah. Though Zaynab became Muslim, her husband Ebû`l- Âs b. Rebî didn`t convert to Islam. However, Zaynab always became tolerant to her husband. Unbelievers offered to her husband to be divorced from Zaynab and offered to him to be married with a woman his wanting. But he dismissed their proposal by saying that there was not a better wife for himself.After Prophet Mohammed migrated to Medina in 622, Prophet Mohammed wanted to take Zaynab with him but her husband didn`t allow it. When Ebû`l- Âs b. Rebî was held captive at the war of Bedir, he promised to Prophet to be sent his wife Zaynab to Medina because of inconvenient situation near the unbelievers. So Zaynab took way to Medina for immigration. At that time, she was pregnant and during the immigration, she lost her child by felt from a camel due to the unbelievers.After the immigration, for a while Zaynab lived near Hz. Prophet by separating from Ebû`l- Âs b. Rebî. She protected her husband after Is Seriyye. After this event Ebû`l- Âs b. Rebî converted to Islam and Hz. Prophet gave back Zaynab to him. She died at the age of thirty-nine in 629 in Medina after about a year being together with her husband. Because she lost her health because of miscarrying her child during the immigration. Her tomb is in the Tomb of Cennet`ül-Bâkî in Medina.
