dc.description.abstractIn this work, it was focused on the photophysical properties of Rhodamine B (Rh-B) dye compound in the rice husk (sawdust) suspensions (RHS), as well as the characterization of the hybrid material from Rh-B and rice husk (RH). It was revealed that the type of molecular assembly of Rh-B in RHS was H-aggregation. As regards the results of Fourier transformed infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopic characterization, it can be explained that Rh-B dye molecule adsorbed (or penetrated) on the surface of RH particles via H-bonding alongside electrostatic interactions. It was also demonstrated that the particle size of hybrid materials in a colloidal dispersion was about 250 nm, which is a feasible value for ink applications.en_US
