| dc.description.abstract | Erythrocyte sizes and counts, leukocyte counts, hemoglobin concentrations, and hematocrit values were determined for diploid and triploid rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), Black Sea trout (Salmo labrax), and their hybrids. Comparison of the diploid and triploid hybrids with the parental species revealed low erythrocyte counts and high mean corpuscular hemoglobin values for the triploids, elevated hemoglobin concentrations for the diploids, and similar hematocrits for all fishes. | en_US |
