dc.description.abstractA multivariate analysis of the effect of gender on computer anxiety among elementary school teachers is presented. Data were collected using an online survey and the URL was given to the 496 participants who volunteered for this study. The sample comprised Turkish elementary school teachers from the northeast of Turkey who were employed in schools associated with the Ministry of National Education. A one-way, between-groups multivariate analysis of covariance was performed on the three subscales or gender. Preliminary checks on the data showed no violations for multivariate normality and equality of variance. This study aimed to examine whether significant differences exist in the computer anxiety levels of Turkish elementary school teachers by gender after controlling their computer experience levels. In this study, a linear combination of the three dimensions of computer anxiety and their interactions were investigated in a multivariate context.en_US
