Dışavurumcu Sanat Yoluyla Estetik Değer Öğretimi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin dışavurumcu sanat yoluyla estetik değer yargılarının gelişimini sağlamaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Rize il ve ilçelerinde öğrenim gören 20 ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma karma yöntem araştırma desenlerinden yakınsayan paralel desen yaklaşımıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada öğrencilerin estetik beğeni düzeylerini ve estetik değerlendirmelerini tespit etmek amacıyla veri toplama aracı olarak estetik beğeni anketi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları öğrencilerin, eğitimden önce sanat eserlerini estetik ögeleri dikkate alarak değerlendirirken zorlanmalarına ve beğenilerini ortaya koyamamalarına karşılık; dışavurumcu sanat yoluyla verilen eğitim sonunda sanat eserlerine yönelik beğeni düzeylerinin arttığını göstermiştir. Diğer taraftan öğrencilerin eğitim öncesinde sanat eserlerini belirgin özelliklerini dikkate alarak olumlu ya da olumsuz bir bakış açısı ile değerlendirirken verilen eğitim sonrası renk, ışık-gölge, oran-orantı, kompozisyon, denge ya da leke kullanımı gibi sanatsal terimleri dikkate alarak olumlu bir bakış açısı ile değerlendirdikleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları estetik değer eğitiminde dışavurumcu sanatsal etkinlikler yoluyla uyarlanan eğitim programının öğrencilerin estetik bakış açılarının gelişiminde etkili bir öğrenme-öğretme aracı olarak kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir. Bu bulgular ışığında çocuklarla çalışan eğitimcilerin çocuklarda estetik değer yargısının gelişimini sağlamak amacıyla farklı dışavurumcu sanatsal yöntem ve tekniklerle ilişkilendirilmiş sınıf içi etkinlikler düzenlemeleri gerektiği düşünülmektedir.

The aim of the research is to develop the aesthetic value judgments of the 7th grade students through expressive art. The sample of the research is composed of 20 secondary school 7th grade students studying in Rize city and its counties. The research was conducted by means of convergent parallel design, which is a type of mixed method research design. Aesthetic appreciation questionnaire was used as data collection tool in order to determine the students' aesthetic appreciation levels and aesthetic evaluations. The results of the research showed that although students were difficult to assess the art works in the pre-test considering the aesthetic items, the level of appreciation of the art works in the post-test increased. On the other hand, the students evaluate the works of art in the pre-test from a positive and negative point of view, taking distinctive features of works of art into account, while students evaluate the works of art in the post-test with a positive point of view considering the artistic concepts such as color, light-shadow, ratio and proportion, composition. The results of the research show that training program adapted through the expressive artistic activities in aesthetic value education can be used as an effective learning-teaching tool in the development of the students’ aesthetic aspects. It is thought that the educators working with children need to organize in-class activities associated with different expressive artistic methods and techniques in order to develop the aesthetic value judgment in children.
