Döviz kuru değişkenliğinin Türkiye’nin euro kullanan ülkelere i̇hracatı üzerindeki etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada reel döviz kuru değişkenliğinin Türkiye’nin Euro kullanan 12 ülkeye olan ihracatı üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla Euro’nun tedavüle girdiği 2002 sonrası yıllara ait üçer aylık veri seti ve panel veri yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Tahmin sonuçları reel döviz kuru değişkenliğinin Türkiye’nin Euro kullanan ülkelere olan ihracatını düşük düzeyde, kalıcı olmayacak bir şekilde ve negatif yönde etkilediğini göstermektedir. Çalışmada aynı zamanda, reel döviz kurunun Türkiye’nin bu ülkelere olan ihracatını etkilediğine ilişkin herhangi bir bulgu elde edilememiştir.

This paper investigates the impact of real exchange rate volatility on the Turkey’s export to the Euro 12 countries. Econometric analysis bases on panel data methods and uses quarterly data for the years after 2002 when Euro entered into circulation in these countries. Estimation results indicate that real exchange rate volatility affects Turkey’s export to the Euro using countries in a low level negatively and not in a permanent manner. Furthermore it is found that reel exchange rate does not affect Turkey’s export to these countries.
