Kemalist estetiğin sanatsal politikası

Abstract

Bu makale, Kemalizm’i politik estetik bağlamda tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır. Politik estetik, modernizmle birlikte ortaya çıkan sanatsal temsil biçimlerinin politik alandaki yansıması olarak düşünülebilir. Politik estetik, özellikle uluslaşma süreci yaşayan toplumlarda, kitlelerin estetize edilmiş bir birlik imgesi olan Ulus’ta sanatsal düzeyde temsil edilmesi yoluyla görünürlük kazanır. Bu açıdan politik estetik, modern temsil rejiminin sanat ile siyaseti bir araya getirdiği düzlem olarak ortaya çıkar. Bu makale, kendisi de modernleştirici bir ulus tasarım süreci olan Kemalizm’i modern temsil rejiminin sanatsal politikası üzerinden incelemeye çalışacaktır

This article aims to discuss Kemalism in a political-aesthetical context. Political aesthetics can be thought of as the reflection of artistic forms of representation emerging with modernism in the political field. Especially in societies that examine the process of nationalization, the political aesthetic gains its visibility through the artistic representation of the masses within the notion of the Nation that is aestheticized image of unity. In this respect, political aesthetic emerges as the frame where the modern representation regime brings art and politics together. This article will attempt to examine Kemalism, which is also a process of a nation designation, through the artistic politics of modern representation regime.
