Nüshaları Işığında Kitâbu’l-İdrâk Li-Lisâni’l-Etrâk

Abstract

Memlûk sahasının çift dilli sözlüklerinden biri olan Kitâbu’l-İdrâk li-Lisâni’l-Etrâk, gerek müellifi gerek ihtiva ettiği malzeme gerek usul kapsam ve tertip şekli bakımından benzerleri içinde müstesna bir yere sahiptir. Eser, çift dilli oluşu ve barındırdığı Türkçe malzemenin, farklı lehçe örneklerini yansıtmasıyla -şüphesiz- yazılması da istinsah edilmesi de zor bir eserdir. Eserin aslı elimizde olmadığından aslının izini elimizdeki nüshalarından sürmek durumundayız. Bu makalede, eserin aslının daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamak amacıyla eldeki üç nüsha ortak ve farklı taraflarıyla tanıtılmaya gayret edilecektir. Tanıtma, eserin özelliklerinin anlaşılması için konusuna göre tespit edilmiş dokuz başlık altında yapılacak; her konu, nüshalardan örneklerle desteklenmeye çalışılacaktır.

Kitab al-Idrak li-Lisan al-Atrak, which is one of the billingual dictionaries of Memluk field has an exceptional place among its counterparts in terms of its author, content, method, scope and way of arrayal. Being bilingual and consisting of the examples of different Turkish dialects inarguably make this literary work difficult to write and copy. Since the original copy of the work is not available to us, the original copy is to be traced through the available copies. Concordantly, in order to contribute the better understanding of this literary work, this article attempts to introduce the work based on similar and divergent aspects of three available copies. In this respect, to ensure a deeper insight into the text characteristics, the presentation of the work will be made under nine headings that have been assigned according to the topic in which each topic will be supported with examples from the copies.
