Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) is a drug-related disease associated with neuroleptics. Many case reports with NMS were published on various neuroleptic drugs1–6; however, the pathogenesis of NMS is well known. It is characterized by fever, severe muscle rigidity, and autonomic and mental status changes.
