When Bilmen's works taking into consideration, it is understood that the categorization of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) which is made by some legal historians such as 'the emergence of Islamic jurisprudence, its evolution, slowness, collapse and being a candidate for a revival after Majallah's Period' is not well accurate. Bilmen's works are important examplification in terms of transferring jurisprudential accumulation of earlier period to today in a detailed way, and also in terms of its impact to several/various studies which are made after him. This article will focus on the Bilmen's views and approaches on the legal history and by doing this, it will suggest that the claim about Islamic Jurisprudence had a decline in a certain period is not consistent.en_US
