Abstract

Fifty seahorses and 50 pipefish were sampled from 2010 to 2011, and examined for the presence of parasites. Unusual isopod infestations (Nerocila bivittata) were observed on pouch of Hippocampus guttulatus from 60 meters sea depth and on the skin of Sygnatus sp. from 10 meters depth.
