Örnek olay yönteminin 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin yardımseverlik değerine yönelik tutumları üzerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada örnek olay yönteminin 4. Sınıf öğrencilerinin yardımseverlik değerine yönelik tutumları üzerine etkisi araştırılmış, öğrencilerin yardımseverlik değerine ve değer eğitimine ilişkin görüşleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel ve nitel verilerin bir arada kullanıldığı karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Aktepe (2010) tarafından geliştirilmiş "Yardımseverlik Tutum Ölçeği", araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen "Öğrenci Tanıma Formu", "Öğrenci Görüşme Formu" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2019-2020 eğitim yılında Rize iline bağlı bir köy okulunun 4. Sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda örnek olay yönteminin 4. Sınıf öğrencilerinin yardımseverlik değerine yönelik tutumlarını olumlu etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Örnek olay yönteminin değer eğitimini somutlaştırdığı; öğrencilerin örnek olaylardaki sorunlara yardımsever tutumla çözüm önerileri getirdikleri görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin Yardımseverlik Tutum Ölçeği puanlarında son test lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmüştür.

In this study, the effect of case study method on the attitudes of 4th grade students towards the value of helpfulness was investigated, the student's views on the value of helpfulness and value education were tried to be determined. The Mixed method, in which qualitative and qualitative data are used together,was used in the research. In the research, "Helpfulness Attitude Scale" developed by Aktepe (2010), "Student Recognition Form" and "Student Interview Form" developed by their researcher were used as data collection tools. The study group of the research consists of the 4th grade students of a village school in Rize in the 2019-2020 academic year. As a result of the research, it was determined that the case study method positively affected the attitudes of 4th grade students towards the value of helpfulness. The case study method embodies value education; it was seen that the students offered solutions to the problems in the case studies with a heplful attitude. It was observed that there was a significant difference in favor of the post-test in the helpfulness attitude scale scores of the students.
