İlmihal geleneğinde içerik ve yöntem

Abstract

"İlim" ve "Hal" kelimesinden müteşekkil ilmihal kelimesi, her Müslümanın özellikle inanç ve ibadet alanında zorunlu olarak bilmesi gereken bilgileri içeren muhtevi eserlerdir. Temel dini bilgilere ulaşma hususunda kolaylık vazifesini üstlenen ilmihaller, yazıldıkları dönemin din anlayışını yansıtması hasebiyle fıkıh alanında yazılan eserler arasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu öneme binaen bu çalışmada farklı farklı dönemlerde yazılan ve yazıldığı dönemde insanların dini yaşantısı üzerinde etkili olan dokuz ilmihalin içerik ve yöntemleri mukayese edilerek ilmihal geleneğindeki değişim ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ilmihallerde içerik ve yöntem bakımından bir değişimin olduğu, ilmihal müelliflerinin kendi dönemlerinin ihtiyaçlarını göz önünde bulundurarak ilmihal konularını belirleyip hitap ettikleri kitlenin anlayış seviyelerine uygun bir şekilde ilmihallerini kaleme aldıkları, bu sebeple ilmihal geleneğinde dinamik bir yapının söz konusu olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Although 'Ilmihal` (İslamic catechisms), that consists of words `ilim`(wisdom) and `hal` (state) has been used as from early periods, later included compositions written in the field of Canon Law that describes spiritual information which individuals should posses in their state, moment and time. İslamic catechisms (ilmihal), which undertake the task of accessing religious information and facilitating the solution of problems encountered in daily life, have an important place among the works written in the field of fiqh as they reflect the religious understanding of the period in which they were written. Therefore, in this study, the content and methods of the catechisms which were written in different periods and which had an effect on the religious life of the people were compared and the change in the catechism tradition was tried to be revealed. In this study, there is a change in the content and method of the catechism, the catechism writers determine the catechism issues by considering the needs of their own period and catechism in accordance with the level of understanding of the audience, so it is determined that there is a dynamic structure in the catechism tradition.
