İlkokul 4. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde yardımseverlik değerinin yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle kazandırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, ilkokul dördüncü sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde yardımseverlik değerinin yaratıcı drama yöntemine dayalı etkinliklerle öğretiminin, öğrencilerin yardımseverlik tutumlarına etkisini ve öğrenciler tarafından sürecin nasıl değerlendirildiğinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Karma yönteme göre modellenen araştırmada nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemleri birlikte kullanılmıştır. Araştırma karma yöntem desenlerinden yakınsayan paralel desene göre tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Van ili İpekyolu merkez ilçesindeki bir ilkokulda öğrenim gören dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubu (4/D) ve kontrol grubunda (4/B) 30 öğrenci olmak üzere toplamda 60 öğrenci araştırmada yer almıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak "Yardımseverlik Tutum Ölçeği" yaratıcı drama etkinliklerinden hareketle "Öğrenci Günlükleri" ve "Gözlem Formu" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda kontrol ve deney grubunun yardımseverlik tutum puanları arasında ön testte anlamlı fark olmadığı, son testte ise deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Uygulanan Yaratıcı Drama Etkinliklerinin, yardımseverlik değerinin öğretimini kolaylaştırdığı, öğretim sürecini eğlenceli hâle getirdiği ve yaparak yaşayarak öğrenmeyi desteklediği görülmüştür.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the impact of the teaching of the value of helpfulness on the Creative Drama Method in the fourth grade social studies course and how it is evaluated by the students. Quantitative and qualitative research methods were used in the study, which was modeled according to the Mixed Method. The research is designed according to the parallel pattern that converges from Mixed Method patterns. The study group of the study consists of fourth grade students studying at a primary school in the central district of İpekyolu, Van. A total of 60 students (30 students in the experimental group (4/D) and control group (4/B) participated in the study. In this study, "Helpfulness Attitude Scale", "Student Diaries" ,and "Observation Form" were used as data collection tools. At the end of the study, it was seen that the helpfulness attitude scores of the control and experimental groups have not a significant difference in the pre-test, but in the post-test, it was found that they differ significantly in favor of the experimental group. It has been observed that creative drama activities have facilitated the teaching of the value of helpfulness, made the teaching process fun and supported learning through experience.
