| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmada öncelikle sosyal bilgilerin ne olduğu, sosyal bilgiler öğretiminin amacı ve önemi, sosyal bilgilerin dünyada ve Türkiye'deki gelişimi, tarih ve tarih bilinci, sosyal bilgilerde tarih ve tarih bilincinin öğretimi üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca literatür taraması yapılmış ve konusu ile ilgili yapılmış olan çeşitli araştırmalar incelenmiştir. Çalışmadaki temel amaç, sosyal bilgiler öğretim programının 5.sınıflara ait kısmında yer alan konularının tarih bilinci oluşturmadaki etkililiğini öğretmen görüşleri doğrultusunda ortaya koymaya çalışmaktır. Nicel ve nitel olarak yapılan araştırma, tarama modelinde ve ayrıntılı durum belirlemeye yönelik olup, genel tarama modellerinden faydalanılarak ortaya konulmuştur. Bu kapsamda programı hazırlayanlara dönüt sağlaması bakımından öğretmenlerin program ve programda yer alan tarih konularının etkililiği hakkındaki görüşlerini tespit etmek amacıyla beşli ve üçlü likert tipi dereceleme ölçeği ve açık uçlu sorular kullanılarak anket formu hazırlanmış ve veriler toplanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Antalya İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı ortaokullarda görevli olan ve rastgele seçilmiş 101 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Elde edilen verilere ilişkin istatistiki işlemlerin bir kısmı, SPSS paket programında yapılmış, araştırma anketinin 5. bölümündeki sorulara yönelik analiz çalışmaları ise nitel veri analizi yöntemlerinden olan betimsel analiz kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin, sosyal bilgiler öğretim programının 5. sınıf kısmı tarih konuları hakkındaki düşüncelerine yönelik elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda, söz konusu programın bireylerde tarih bilinci oluşturmada önemli derecede etkili olduğu ancak öğrenci seviyesine göre geliştirilmesinin uygun olacağı, programdaki tarih konularının yeterli olmadığı ve programda çeşitli değişikliklerin yapılması gerektiği anlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin "Sosyal bilgiler öğretim programının 5.sınıf kısmında yer alan konuların tarih bilinci oluşturmadaki etkililiği", "Sosyal bilgiler öğretim programının 5. sınıf kısmında yer alan tarih konuları hakkındaki düşünceleri" ve "Sosyal bilgiler dersinde tarih konularının işlenişinde ve tarih bilincinin kazandırılmasında hangi yöntem tekniklerin daha uygun olduğuna ilişkin düşünceleri" ile ilgili görüşlerinin cinsiyetlerine, branşlarına ve kıdemlerine göre farklılaşma durumuna bakıldığında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. In this research, definiton of social studies, the aim and the importance of the social studies education, development of sociel studies in the world and Turkey, history and historical consciousness, history in the social studies and education of historical consciosness subjects are primarily emphasized. The literature is reviewed, and various researches on related subject are examined. The main purpose of the study is to expose the effectiveness of the subjects of the fifthgraders social studies curriculum on raising historical consciousness according to the opinions of teachers. The research, which is done quantitatively and qualitatively, is in the screening model and is intended to determine the detailed situation, and is propounded by using general screening models. In this context, in order to provide feedback to the presenters, a questionnaire is prepared by using five-point and three-point likert-scale and open-ended questions in order to determine the opinions of teachers about the effectiveness of the program and the history subjects in the curriculum, and datas are collected. The sample of the study consists of 101 randomly selected social studies teachers who are assigned to the secondary schools of Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education in 2017-2018 academic year. A part of the statistical procedures related to the data obtained were transacted in SPSS package software and the analysis studies for the questions in the fifth part of the research questionnaire were conducted by using descriptive analysis which is one of the qualitative data analysis methods. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the opinions of the participant teachers on the history subjects in the part of the fifth-graders social studies curriculum, it is found out that the relevant program is effective in raising historical consciousness on individuals, but the history subjects are inadequate, and the curriculum requires various changes and is not sufficient for the students' level. In addition, considering the differentiation of teachers according to their gender, branches and seniority, no significant difference has been found in the opinions of the participant teachers about "the effectiveness of the history subjects in the part of the fifth-graders social studies curriculum in rising historical consciousness", "the history subjects in the part of the fifth-graders social studies curriculum" and "which methods and techniques are more suitable for teaching history subjects in the social studies lesson and raising historical consciousness". | en_US |
