In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effect of energy consumption on income and net savings in Turkey. Data from the period 1974-2019 were used in the analyses. Energy consumption is represented by primary energy consumption, income by GDP per capita, and net savings by net national savings. In the analyses, the variables were first subjected to ADF and PP unit root tests. It has been determined that the levet values of the variables contain a unit root, and when the first difference is taken, the variables do not contain a unit root. The existence of long-term relationship between the variables was investigated with the Engel-Granger cointegration test. Acoording to the results obtained, the existence of a long term relationship between the variables could not be determined. According to Granger Causality analysis, no unilateral and/ord reciprocal relationship was found between "energy consumption and income" and "energy consumption and net savings".
